Macron new technical sponsor of Cricket Ireland

The Macron family is expanding into top-level international cricket. Starting this season and running through to 2026, the Macron Hero will appear on the jerseys and technical apparel of Cricket Ireland, the cricket team that represents all of Ireland internationally. Cricket Ireland is a member of the National Representatives of the International Cricket Council, the world governing body of cricket, and is present at all major international events in the discipline: test matches, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals. 

Cricket was first played in Ireland in the 1790s and the first match played by a ‘representative’ Ireland men’s team was in 1855. Many of the clubs founded around that time still exist today, highlighting how this discipline now belongs to the sporting tradition of a country, which, along with England, represent Europe among cricket's elite national teams.

The partnership with Macron, who already “dress” the Italian Cricket Federation, includes supplying the men and women's teams with the technical clothing for both athletes and staff. This is a further confirmation of the international level achieved by the brand in all kinds of sports activities.
