Udinese, the third jersey is an homage to 125 years of history
On November 30, 125 years ago, Udinese Calcio was born. To celebrate this prestigious milestone, the Friulian club and Macron have presented the new Anniversary shirt, the third for the 2021-2022 season. The jersey celebrates the club's history through the historical logos that have characterised the ‘bianconere’ uniforms and will be worn by the First Team starting today at the Dacia Arena against Genoa, for Day 14 of the Serie A.
Like a common thread linking tradition to the future, the new "Third" - as per the Home and Away - has been made with fabric derived from 100% recycled plastic, and certified according to the most important international standard for the sustainable production of clothing and textiles, the Global Recycled Standard. In particular, Eco-Piola fabric with Eco-Mesh inserts was used to make the Third.
The "Third" is entirely black and has a crew neck. The inner backneck is personalised with the club's logo on a black background and the words 125 YEARS OF PASSION, while the club's years 1896-2021 appear in relief and tone on tone on the outer backneck. The front body of the jersey is characterised by a wide vertical and central band, tone on tone, which depicts the logos that have marked the many seasons of Udinese Calcio. Starting from the star on the chest of the first Udinese team in 1896 (black jersey, white trousers and black socks), and then the first logos of the Club up to the current one.
On the chest, on the right and in white silicone print, there is the Macron Hero, the logo of the Italian brand, while on the left, heart-side, there is the Udinese Calcio logo. A logo specifically designed for this 'historic' season, recalling the year of foundation, 125 years of history, and the classic inverted black V.
