THE MACRON HERO STARS IN THE FINALS VOLLEYBALL GERMAN CUP
The DVV Pokal, the German Cup of Men’s and Women’s Volleyball, will be propelled to the sky by one, if not two clubs that will display on their shirts a Macron Hero. The DVV Pokal finals, which will take place on February 28th at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, will see three formations out of four to be sponsored by Macron: United Volleys Frankfurt and Netzhoppers KW in the men’s final, and SSC Palmberg Schwerin, that will face the SC Potsdam for the women’s final.
The game between the two men’s teams -- United Volleys Frankfurt and Netzhoppers KW -- is a historical event. For both clubs this will be a very first final after a long path marked by exciting successes, like the victory of the United Volleys Frankfurt in semi final against VfB Friedrichshafen, a “battleship” team that has won 16 Cups of Germany. In the women’s section, SSC Palmberg Schwerin is instead in search of their 7th Cup of Germany (the last one was won in 2019) to enrich even more an already impressive price list, the highlights of which are 12 German championships (plus 7 from the DDR), 4 German supercups, 1 Champions League and 1 CEV Cup.
This was a great accomplishment for the clubs and for Macron--two entities bound by elective affinities such as sustained passion and work, and the determination to reach their goal, characteristics that define the Macron Hero. The Macron clubs understand that working in team is key to grow and improve together, to overcome difficulties and obstacles, and to never give up. These are the steps towards a final victory. Work Hard Play Harder is the Macron philosophy, but also the philosophy of all the clubs who chose to wear the Macron Hero. “Being present with three clubs out of four at the DVV Pokal finals makes us extraordinarily proud-- declared Gianluca Pavanello, Macron CEO–and, naturally, we wish all the teams the achievement of the best possible results. The fact that, for quite a while already, these top clubs have chosen Macron is a testament to the quality of our products, characterized by highly technical fabrics, design and attention to details, both for the game kits and the clothing lines created for the teams’ fans. The German market is very important for us, and the final of a national cup is a stage that will allow to further increase the visibility and recognizability of the Macron brand.”
