The Sabbioneta town walls on the shirts of the Macron Warriors

For the Sabbioneta Macron Warriors, the new season has brought many changes. First of all, a new – or refound – match location in Sabbioneta, the ‘ideal’ town designated a Unesco World Heritage Centre. The club’s powerchair hockey and powerchair football teams are also getting new coaches, both from top national tournaments. And new shirts too, presented on the first day of the championship.

The new match kits of the red and blue Warriors feature the colours and symbols of the club along with a clear homage to the town of Sabbioneta. The shirts are the result of close collaboration between team staff and Macron, ‘title sponsor’ to the Sabbioneta club.

The new ‘Home’ shirt comes in red and blue with a striking fade effect on the body and sleeves. Another eye-catching feature of the ‘Home’ shirt is the geometric pattern on the bottom, front and back, representing a plan view of the ancient walls of Sabbioneta, which were built to defend the town centre in the Renaissance period. The same design, along with the lettering ‘Sabbioneta’ is repeated on the chest over the heart, under the logo of the Macron Warriors. The Macron Hero logo appears in white on the right.

The ‘Away’ shirt adds white to the team’s traditional red and blue but maintains the fade effect between the three colours. The top part of the shirt is while the bottom half is red and blue. The same fusion of colours is repeated on the sleeves. On the chest, the Macron Hero logo and that of the club appear over the plan of the Sabbioneta town walls. The ‘Away’ shirt is characterised graphically by a design consisting of wavy blue lines that form a band and create a 3-D movement effect.

The Sabbioneta Macron Warriors teamware line includes match shirts, training kits, polos, tracksuits and travelling jackets for players and staff.
