NEW SCARLETS SHIRTS FEATURE DRAGON WINGS AS WELL AS NODS TO THE FANS AND STADIUM

Historic Welsh rugby club the Scarlets and Macron have unveiled the Home and Away kits that the team will wear over the course of the upcoming 2021/22 season. The dragon – the symbol of the club – has a starring role in these exclusive Macron match kits, which feature sophisticated graphics and design while preserving the Scarlets’ traditions.

The new Home shirt with mandarin collar is in traditional scarlet red, with white trim around the collar and sleeves. The Italian brand's Macron Hero logo appears in white on the right breast, with the Scarlets crest on the left, over the heart. The front of the shirt features a sublimation print of dragon wings, while the tone-on-tone design down the sides of the shirt incorporates a series of diamonds, with the lettering SCARLETS set inside this.

There are details everywhere you look in the Home kit. The bottom of the shirt is home to the CRYS 16 logo, the Scarlets’ organised fan group, while the logo of the Parc y Scarlets – the rugby stadium where the team plays its home matches – features on the side in a tone-on-tone, embossed graphic.

The Away jersey is in anthracite grey and features a mandarin collar with scarlet trim, while there is also a sleek stripe of scarlet trim at the sleeves. The dragon wings design again returns for the Away kit, as does the design down the sides of the shirts and the CRYS 16 logo. The Macron Hero logo and the Scarlets badge are positioned on the chest in scarlet red.
