Macron and Port Adelaide FC extend their partnership until 2028
The partnership between Macron and Port Adelaide FC, the oldest professional sports club in South Australia and the fifth with the longest history in the Australian Football League, continues. The relationship between the Italian brand and the Australian club, which began in 2021, is renewed for a further 4 years, confirming the strong harmony created by both parties and which has led in recent years to the creation of unique collections and “Guernseys”, typical Australian football jerseys that are generally sleeveless and represent one of the symbols of this sport.
A partnership renewed twelve months before its expiration, testifying to the solidity of a relationship based on the synergy between the values, objectives and innovation of both brands.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Macron as our official on-field apparel partner for another four years,”, Port Adelaide FC CEO Matthew Richardson said. “Macron is a major European high performance sportswear company committed to excellence and innovation. The brand’s in-house design capability from their headquarters in Bologna, Italy provides cutting edge high-performance technical sportswear for our players and coaches, as well as a fully customized collection of supporter wear for our members and supporters. The growth in our retail business has been significant over the last four years, with the investment in the Port Store at Alberton Oval being an important part of the experience for our members and supporters, and Macron have played an important role in both this, and the development of our retail collections each year.”
“My thanks go to Gianluca Pavanello, Roberto Casolari, Marco Bettella and all the team at Macron for their work to bring this renewed deal to life. We look forward to continuing to work together on providing outstanding products for our players, staff and supporters.”
“Partnerships are valuable when they are built on solid relationships of collaboration and mutual esteem”, Macron CEO Gianluca Pavanello said. “With the Port Adelaide Football Club, we immediately created an excellent bond, both on a working and personal level. For this reason, it was natural to continue together in an important sports project, within which we can develop collections that best represent the identity and values of this club. Australia and the AFL are a very important market for us, in which we are growing thanks also to this partnership with an important and titled club like Port Adelaide.”
