Identity, pride, passion and history in the new Bristol Rovers FC Home kit by Macron
Bristol Rovers F.C., the English club that plays in the EFL League One, has unveiled the new Home Kit made by Macron that the ‘Pirates’ will wear during the upcoming 2024/25 season. A kit that pays tribute to all the players who have worn the iconic Bristol club shirt throughout the club’s 141-year history. The iconic white and blue quarters into which the jersey is divided become ideal ‘pages’ where the pride, passion, belonging and heritage of the Bristol club can be told. A shirt that looks to the future while paying homage to the past, the people and the community that the club represents.
The new Bristol Rovers F.C. 2024/25 Home shirt features the traditional blue and white colours and the quarters design, with the upper ones smaller and the lower ones larger. The demarcation lines between the different blocks are not sharp and perfectly perpendicular but slightly irregular, with a sublimation print spray effect. The collar is a knitted crew neck and is composed of alternating white and blue stripes, as are the sleeve cuffs. The backneck is customised with the same quarter division and irregular borders, which characterise the shirt design. The right side of the label features the club’s logo, while the left side features the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Macron Campus. On the chest, the Macron Hero is embroidered in blue on the right, while on the left is the Bristol Rovers F.C. crest, made of blue silicone on a white suede base.
The graphic peculiarity of the new ‘Pirates’ Home shirt is the all-over sublimation tone-on-tone print of the names of the players who have proudly worn the Bristol club’s kit over the years. On the outer back neck, the image of two intertwined sabres is printed in white. The kit is completed by blue basketball-style shorts with a white drawstring and thigh edging. The blue socks have two white horizontal bands in the centre.
The new Bristol Rovers F.C. Home shirt has a Slim Fit. Like all the shirts produced by Macron for its partner clubs, it is made from Eco Fabric, a 100% post-consumer plastic recycling fabric. In particular, the shirt is made of Eco Softlock fabric, with an Eco Micromesh panel on the back and Eco Mesh inserts that make the garment lighter and more breathable.
