History, pride and identity in the special kit designed for Arminia Bielefeld

NIEMAND EROBERT DEN TEUTOBURGER WALD (Nobody conquers the forest of Teutoburg), this is the motto that stands out on the new Arminia Bielefeld 'special kit'. Made by Macron for the historic German Bundesliga club, the kits will be worn on April 30th during the match against Hertha BSC.

A shirt that fully expresses the pride and identity of a team strongly linked to its territory and to the history written there in 9 AD. Arminia Bielefeld owes its name to Arminius, the legendary leader of the Germanic tribe who inflicted one of the most bitter defeats suffered by the Roman army. The battle took place in the Teutoburg Forest, on the slopes of which the town of Bielefeld is situated. However, the current state of the Teutoburg Forest is also a major concern for DSC Arminia Bielefeld. In order to preserve the forest as a defining feature of the region for future generations, Arminia is therefore actively involved in the forest protection efforts.

With the new limited-edition special jersey that the Bundesliga team will wear during the home match against Hertha BSC Berlin (SA, 30.04.), DSC continues its commitment to nature conservation: For every jersey sold directly through the club, new trees will be planted in the Teutoburg Forest. In this way, every fan helps to ensure that in the future, just as in the past, "Nobody conquers the Teutoburg Forest!"

All these elements appear in the sophisticated graphics on the jersey, made by Macron in Eco-Softlock fabric, 100% polyester made from recycled plastic. A "green" approach that has long been implemented by the Italian brand and shared by the German club as a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment.

The jersey has a V-neck edged in grey. At chest height, the jersey is white with the Macron Hero - logo of the Italian brand - on the right in a silicon print and the Arminia Bielefeld crest on the left, heart-side. On the front, the jersey is characterised by a graphic that blurs from light grey to anthracite grey. The design features the Teutoburg Forest with an image of the Hermansdenkmal, the Arminio Monument located in Detmold, in the southern part of the forest. The external backneck is personalised with the motto NIEMAND EROBERT DEN TEUTOBURGER WALD on a black background. The coat of arms of the city of Bielefeld is embroidered in black and white on the internal backneck.

Grey shorts with white drawstrings and white socks complete the special kit. The main fabric used for the jersey is Eco-Softlock, and the presence of Eco-Mesh inserts makes the garment exceptionally light and perfectly breathable.
