Garnet, white, and symbols of national identity on the new Georgia Rugby Union jersey
Georgia Rugby Union and Macron - as of last summer, new technical partner of the "Lelos" - have presented the new match kits that the Georgian national rugby team will wear during this season. Colours and symbols of the national tradition combine with the technicality and quality of the materials to make up a symbolic jersey, enriched by an exclusive design and attention to detail.
The new "Home" jersey is garnet with a white polo collar and two-button closure. The Macron Hero, logo of the Italian brand, is embroidered on the right side of the chest, while on the left, heart-side, is the logo of the Georgia Rugby Union. On the back, the 5-cross Georgian flag is embroidered under the collar. At the bottom of the back of the jersey, there is a graphic of a vine shoot embossed tone on tone, symbol and expression of national identity of a country historically considered among the oldest and most prestigious wine producers. On the sides, there are two darker vertical bands featuring geometric graphics. The shorts are white with vertical garnet stripes on the sides. The socks are garnet with the Macron Hero on the front and 'GEORGIA' written on the back.
The “Away” shirt, again featuring a polo neck, is white and has the same graphic details as the “home” version. The garnet colour is present in the stripes, with an irregular effect on the chest at sleeve height and on the sides. Garnet stripes also characterize the back of the shirt. On the chest, the Macron Hero and the logo of the Georgian Federation are also embroidered in garnet. On the backneck is the Georgian flag, and on the bottom of the jersey, the tone on tone vine shoot graphic. Vertical bands with a geometric design adorn the sides. White shorts with garnet details and garnet socks complete the away kit.
The match jerseys have a Body Fit and the fabrics used are specifically Armevo with Boditex inserts, materials that, in addition to lightness and breathability, ensure maximum resistance.
