CSKA Sofia and Macron to stay together

CSKA Sofia, the top club in Bulgarian football, and Macron are continuing their partnership by announcing a long-term renewal of the agreement first signed in September 2021.  The collaboration has played an important role in the success of CSKA Sofia, the capital city club that has always been a leading name in national and international competitions.

CSKA Sofia boasts an amazing sporting record: the club has won the Bulgarian championship 31 times, the Bulgarian Cup 21 times and the Bulgarian Supercup 4 times. They are well-known for their victories against the reigning European champions of the time: Liverpool, Ajax, and Nottingham Forest. In recent years, the club has consistently finished at the top of the First League, Bulgaria’s top league, in a battle to the last minute with historical rivals Ludogorets. In 2023, the “Chervenite” (The Reds) celebrated their 75^th anniversary with a commemorative shirt, designed together with Macron, that proved extremely popular with the club’s many supporters.

In addition to the supply of sportswear for the first team, the renewed agreement also covers kits for the youth team and a complete line of merchandise for supporters. All garments will be fully customised and made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material obtained entirely from recycled plastic, confirming the green philosophy and commitment to sustainability and the environment that CSKA Sofia shares with Macron.
