Tradition combined with modern twist in new Crystal Palace home kit

Following the launch of the new away kit last month, Crystal Palace FC, the historic English club established 1861, which shall soon begin its tenth consecutive season in the Premier League, presented its new home kit made by Macron.

The tradition of the Eagles' red and blue stripes is enriched by an innovative graphic and artistic twist. The design features a distinctive graphic brushstroke effect in the club’s traditional colours and the club’s new crest featuring 1861 as its birth year.

The new home shirt also features a crew neck collar with two defined pinstripes on the edge of a white collar in red and blue vertical lines which also transcend onto the sleeve cuffs.

On the right chest, in white silicone print, the Macron Hero appears which is the logo of the Italian brand. Alongside it on the left chest, is the Crystal Palace FC crest. The Shirt is finalised with the detailing on the rear of the neck the printed wording in white of EAGLES, the club’s nickname.

The Home as well as all the other CPFC match day kits were made by Macron using Eco-Fabric fabric which is a 100 percent polyester sourced from recycled plastic and certified by the Global Recycled Standard. The 2021/22 CPFC kits are a 'green' choice that characterizes Macron and the clubs unified stance on eco-friendly production sending a message of in to protect the environment and the preservation of the ecosystem.

The new Home shirt has a Body Fit version for the players as well as a slim fit for the fans. The body fits main fabric is made in an Eco-Poly Stretch Light with Eco-Mesh inserts makes the garment exceptionally light, perfectly balanced and breathable. All Crystal Palace match kits will soon be available in the English club's dedicated section on www.macron.com.

Chairman Steve Parish commented on the kit, saying: “Our performances at Selhurst Park have been the bedrock of our success in the Premier League, and I can’t wait to see the side walk out in south London in this striking new design which offers yet another modern twist on our traditional colours. As we enter our record tenth successive season in the top-flight, I’m sure the team will create some outstanding new memories for our supporters at home whilst wearing the famous red and blue kits.”
