Tradition, advanced fabrics and innovative graphics for PAOK FC’s new shirts

PAOK Thessaloniki, one of the top clubs in the Greek championship, has presented the new match kits that the team of the two-headed eagle will wear for next season’s games. The ‘Home’ colours respect the club’s traditions but add an original graphic touch, while the Away introduces an elegant pinstripes design and the ‘Third’ and ‘Fourth’ match shirts feature innovative graphics and colours. All the new shirts combines performance with sustainability, being made by Macron, the Greek club’s technical partner, using Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic.

The new ‘Home’ shirt comes in the club’s classic vertical black and white stripes and has a crew neck with black trim and white details. Inside the black stripes, dye-sub graphics reproduce irregular brushed-look lines in anthracite grey. The same black and white pattern can be seen on the sleeves. The inside neck label is customised with the colours and logo of the club, the letters ‘PAOK FC’, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’,  certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and produced at Macron’s Bologna headquarters. The Macron Hero appears in white on the right of the chest, and the PAOK badge on the left. The letters ‘PAOK FC’ are printed in black at the back of the neck. The shorts are white with black bands at the sides. The socks are white with a black band at the top. The ‘Home’ shirt is made from Eco Checker Jaquard, a material in which a chequered motif is produced directly in the weave.

The ‘Away’ version is black with elegant white pinstripes in a sublimated print. The shirt has a crew neck edged in white, as are the cuffs of the sleeves. The backneck is customised the same as the 'Home' jersey, and the words PAOK FC are printed in white on the external part. The Macron Hero and the Hellenic club's badge on the chest are white. The shorts and socks are black and the latter have a thin white horizontal stripe on the upper edge.

The ‘Third’ shirt is in navy blue and has a Mandarin neck trimmed in optical effect white with a thin blue line. The same colours re-appear on the sleeve cuffs. This shirt is characterised by embossed, all-over graphics in which tone on tone patches create a modern camouflage effect. The inside neck label is customised as on the ‘Home’ shirt. The Macron Hero appears on the right of the chest and the PAOK badge over the heart on the left. Both are reproduced in optical white – the same colour used for the letters ‘PAOK FC’ at the back of the neck. The shorts are in navy blue with a white band at the back leg bottoms. The navy blue socks have a white top with a blue line in the middle.

Optical white is the dominant colour of the ‘Fourth’ shirt, which also has a Mandarin neck, this time with three buttons, and is trimmed in orange between two navy blue lines. The same colours are repeated on the sleeve cuffs too. The ‘Fourth’ shirt also has embossed, all-over graphics, this time featuring a minimalist, geometric motif representing the two-headed eagle of the club’s badge. The Macron Hero and the club badge appear in navy blue on the chest. The shorts and socks are in optical white. The socks have a navy blue top band with an orange line in the centre.

Unlike the ‘Home’ shirt, the ‘Away’, ‘Third’ and ‘Fourth’ versions are made from Eco Softlock. All four kits are Slim Fit garments and have an Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for reduced weight and excellent breathability. Along with all other items in the teamwear line produced for PAOK Thessaloniki by Macron, the new shirts are available from the section of the macron.com website dedicated to the club.
