The shark fin on the new Sale Sharks Home Kits designed by Macron

The Sale Sharks, protagonists of an exciting season in the Gallagher Premiership, are already focused on their commitments to the top English rugby league and the Investec Champions Cup. The first official match of the new season will see the English XV take the field at the Salford Community Stadium against the Harlequins, and in that occasion the team will wear the new Home Kit, which was officially unveiled today, together with the Training and Travel collection. Like all those Macron produced for its partner clubs, the kit is made from Eco Fabric, 100% polyester made from post-consumer recycled plastic.

The new Home kit is navy blue with a polo collar and royal blue sleeve edging. The graphic motif that characterises the jersey is composed of a tone-on-tone design, repeated and embossed, of shark fins on a background of fine broken stripes to create the effect of sea waves. The shark also returns on the back of the jersey, with the detail of the club crest, again tone-on-tone and in embossed graphics. The backneck is customised with a label with a background that echoes the graphics of the jersey, the club logo, the motto 'Respect All Fear None', the Macron logo and the words 'Designed in Bologna', to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus. On the chest, on the right and in white, is the Macron Hero, and on the left is the Sale Sharks' crest. The shorts are navy blue with side bands that echo the graphic design of the jersey. The socks are the same colour, with a royal blue upper border and have the Macron Hero on the front and the club's founding date, 1861, on the back.

The fit of the jersey is Body Fit, the main fabric used is Eco Armevo, and the presence of Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh inserts ensures the garment's high performance and durability, lightness and perfect breathability. The new 2024-2025 Home Kits are available in the English club's dedicated space on macron.com.
