The new Emirates Match Officials kits for the Rugby World Cup 2023
One Macron ‘squad’ that will always be on the field during the Rugby World Cup 2023, to be held in France from 8 September to 28 October, is that of the Emirates Match Officials, for whom Macron supplies all the technical sportswear. The new kits for the RWC 2023 are designed by Macron in accordance with the partnership agreement signed with World Rugby in January 2022 and offer excellent quality, advanced technology and innovative, sustainable materials. The kits are made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic. They therefore convey a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment.
The new Emirates Match Officials kits combine comfort and practicality, two characteristics that are essential to performance on the pitch, along with elegant, exclusive designs and attention to detail. The shirts all have a polo neck but come in three different colours: white, yellow and navy blue. ‘Mobius’ graphics like those in the tournament logo appear on the shirt’s front, back and left sleeve. The Macron Hero decorates the right breast and the Rugby World Cup France 2023 logo the left breast. The World Rugby Referee logo appears in the centre of the shoulders where the internal GPS pocket is located.
The white shirt variant has a neck and graphics in fuchsia pink. The yellow variant has a neck and graphics in navy blue while the navy blue shirt again features a neck and graphics in fuchsia pink. All variants are complemented by navy blue shorts and socks. All three shirts are Slim Fit garments made from Eco Fightex.
The new Emirates Match Officials kits for the Rugby World Cup 2023 will make their first appearance in the opening match scheduled for 8 September at the Stade de France, when the hosts will play New Zealand.
