The Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral on the new Away Kit created by Macron for ASM Clermont Auvergne

The new Away Kit of ASM Clermont Auvergne designed by Macron fully expresses the strong bond between the city and the team, which plays in the Top 14, the highest French rugby league. In the set, the sense of belonging to the history and symbols of Clermont-Ferrand merge with the strong message of sustainability and respect for the environment, confirming the green philosophy shared by the club and technical sponsor. The Italian brand makes all the technical garments for its clubs in Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from post-consumer recycled plastic.

The new Jaune et Bleu Away has a V-neck and white sleeves with yellow details. The jersey features an all-over graphic, on a light grey background, which represents, with a poster effect, the design of the Cathedral of Clermont-Ferrand, a majestic Gothic-style church and symbol of the city, as well as a historical monument of France since 1862. It is also known as the ‘black cathedral’ because it is built with lava stone, known as Volvic stone, extracted from quarries around the city that are of volcanic origin.

The backneck is customised with the club colours, yellow and blue, and the equally exclusive graphics of the new home jersey, along with the club crest, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, on the right, in silicon blueprint, is the Macron Hero and next to it, on the left, is the coat of arms of ASM Clermont Auvergne. The writing CLERMONT is embroidered on the back neck, and it is also in blue.

The shorts are white with side bands that pick up on a detail of the graphic on the jersey, where the two typical towers over 96 metres high with incredible spires soaring towards the sky are evident. The socks are white and at calf height, in yellow, is the acronym ASM (Association Sportive Montferrandaise). Above the ankle is the Macron Hero in blue. The jersey has a Body Fit fit, and the fabric used is Eco Armevo, with inserts in Eco Bodytex and Eco Strong Mesh, which, in addition to lightness and breathability, ensure maximum resistance.
