Patterns from the past on the 2024/25 Home and Away kits designed by Macron for Cádiz CF
Cádiz CF unveiled the new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits made by Macron that the Andalusian club will wear in the 2024/25 season. As was the case last year too, the designs of the new kits are inspired by the past. The ‘Home’ kit features a traditional combination of yellow and royal blue embellished with striking graphics and motifs that hark back to the shirt worn from 1991 to 1994. The ‘Away’ kit is white with blue and black details, recalling that of the 1985-86 season, the first year in which Cadiz narrowly avoided relegation from what was then known as the Primera División.
The new 2024-25 Home shirt of Cádiz CF has a knitted polo neck in royal blue with fine yellow and white stripes. The same colours also appear on the sleeve cuffs. Also in royal blue are two large bands on the shoulder, while the front and back of the shirt are in yellow. The new Cádiz CF shirt is further characterised by the geometric figure of the triangle, which recalls the logo of the club and the Macron Hero. The net result is a style reminiscent of the kits worn by the club in the early ’90s, but with modern graphics. Dye-sub printed triangles appear in two shades of yellow at the top of the shirt front, in blue on the shoulder bands, and in contrasting yellow and blue on the sleeves. The triangle motif also appears on the customised inside neck label, which features the logo of the club along with that of Macron and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron’s HQ.
Inside the neck, a custom tape repeats the lettering ‘CÁDIZ CF 1910’ in blue, interspersed with the club’s logo. Behind the polo neck, embroidered in yellow, is the date ‘1910’, the year that Cádiz Club de Fútbol was founded. The kit comes with two alternative shorts: blue with yellow side bands containing blue triangles or yellow with blue triangles on the side bands.
Cádiz CF’s new ‘Away’ shirt is white with a blue polo neck, blue sleeve cuffs and a broad blue band running around the chest. The shoulders of the shirt and the sides of the white shorts feature navy blue dye-sub geometric graphics. On this shirt too, a tape inside the neck carries the lettering ‘CÁDIZ CF 1910’, interspersed with the club’s logo. The Macron Hero is embroidered in blue on the left of the chest. On the right is a patch bearing the Cadiz CF logo in navy blue on a white background. The date ‘1910’ again appears behind the neck. The kit is completed by white socks with a blue band at the top.
Like all teamwear produced for sponsored clubs by Macron, Cádiz CF’s new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ kits are made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material made entirely from recycled plastic and certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. This choice of fabric confirms the commitment to the environment shared by Macron and Cádiz CF.
