Pallacanestro Reggiana’s traditional red and white and innovative details on the club’s new shirts

Pallacanestro Reggiana chose the friendly match against the Slovenian side of KRKA Novo Mesto to officially present the new PalaBigi team and to show off their new match kits for 2023-2024. The team’s first match in Serie A is scheduled for 4 October, when the Emilian club will play away to Happy Casa Brindisi. 

The next season’s game set includes a predominantly white ‘Home’ shirt and a red ‘Away’ shirt with thin white stripes, and it will be completed with a ‘Third’ match shirt, to be unveiled in the upcoming months. All shirts are made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material 100% derived from recycled plastic, confirming the commitment the club shares with Macron to promote the themes of sustainability and respect for the environment.

The new ‘Home’ shirt is white with red and white trim on the arm holes and V neck. The inside label is customised in the colours of the club and displays the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron's Bologna headquarters. Navy blue bands at the sides are ‘broken’ by two white inserts. The Macron Hero appears on the right of the chest and the Pallacanestro Reggiana logo on the left, with the LBA logo just above it. In the centre of the back is a large, horizontal red band with the name of the player printed inside. The shorts are white with red and white trim at the top and navy blue side bands that repeat the design of the shirt.

The brand new ‘Away’ kit is red with thin, vertical white stripes at the front and back. The V neck and arm holes are trimmed in red and white and the inside neck label is customised in the same was as that of the ‘Home’ shirt. Two white bands run down the sides. The red shorts have a white top band containing a fine red line, and white side bands like those of the shirt.

All the shirts are Regular fit garments and are made mainly from Eco Micromesh with Eco Mesh inserts for lightness and excellent breathability. The championship game set also includes a navy blue ‘Shooting Shirt’.
