Macron is the new CONCACAF Sports Equipment and Apparel Partner
Macron and CONCACAF have extended their Match Officials Kits agreement to a broader partnership that will include all clothing worn by employees, staff and volunteers of the soccer’s governing body in North and Central America and the Caribbean.
The partnership between Macron and CONCACAF is being extended. The agreement signed last March, under which the Italian brand became CONCACAF’s “Match Officials Kit Supplier” for the next six seasons, is being broadened to cover the supply of a custom sportswear line for the employees, staff and volunteers of the organisation that governs football in North and Central America and the Caribbean.
The agreement, which covers all of Concacaf’s men’s national team, women’s national team, under-20 and under-17 and club competitions, is Macron’s first confederation-wide partnership with a FIFA confederation and will provide the brand with significant visibility in the Concacaf region during a time at which the sport is expected to grow tremendously.
Concacaf has in fact a range of exciting tournaments taking place in 2024 and 2025, including the men’s 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup for clubs, which includes the very best of MLS, Liga MX and clubs from Central America and the Caribbean, the new women’s 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup, which is delivering compelling NWSL vs Liga MX Femenil rivalries, and highlighting the growth of clubs in Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica, and next summer’s men’s Concacaf Gold Cup, which will be hosted in the USA and Canada and will be the last official tournament for men’s national teams in the region before the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Gold Cup is Concacaf’s flagship tournament and next summer’s event will be hosted in 14 cities, including in five FIFA World Cup 2026 venues.
This new partnership was announced during a visit to the Macron Campus by Victor Montagliani, President of Concacaf and Vice President of FIFA. Gianluca Pavanello, Macron’s CEO and host for the occasion, and Montagliani, both praised the partnership and expressed a shared commitment to supporting the rapid growth of football (soccer) in North America, which will receive a further boost from the many Concacaf tournaments taking place over the next two years leading towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in three Concacaf territories: Canada, Mexico and the United States.
