Macron and Stoke City FC extend long-standing partnership
Ten years together. This is the duration of the partnership achieved with the third renewal of the agreement between Macron and Stoke City FC, one of the oldest professional football teams not only in England but in the world. Collaboration between the parties is being extended until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
The partnership began in June 2016 and, over the years, has led to the creation of a series of unique and exclusive teamwear collections that have successfully conveyed the history and identity of the ‘Potters’ by combining the club’s traditional colours and symbols with innovative stylising and graphics, to the delight of the supporters of Stoke-on-Trent.
“We are happy to continue our journey with Stoke City FC and to extend our partnership into double figures,” commented Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “Our decade-long relationship proves that we work well together and share the same sporting values. The history of the Potters goes hand in hand with that of English football and it is exciting for us to be able to present it in a line of teamwear that satisfies the players’ technical and performance needs and gives supporters a clear sense of belonging. Quality, advanced technology and sustainable fabrics are complemented by refinement, style and original, customised graphics. These are the ingredients of the ‘Macron recipe’ that allows us to offer our partners a top-quality product and to establish long-lasting relationships like the one we are celebrating with Stoke City FC today.”
“Macron have consistently proven to be an innovative, trusted and commercially viable partner who share our passion to create kits Stoke City players and supporters can wear with pride", Stoke City FC's Chief Operating Officer Simon King explained. "The recent launch of our 24/25 home kit further illustrated the ongoing success of the partnership with more shirts sold over the course of the launch weekend than any other Championship season on record. The ability to design completely bespoke kits year-on-year remains critical to our long-standing collaboration with Macron. We will be taking that a step further for the 25/26 home kit which has effectively been designed by our supporters via a Fan Assembly on the subject. We look forward to building on the strong relationship which has served the partnership so well to date in the years to come.”
