A historic renewal for Macron and Bolton Wanderers FC
The ties between Macron and Bolton Wanderers are stronger than ever thanks to the long-term renewal of the partnership agreement with the historic English club, one of the founder members of the Football Association. Next year will mark 10 years of Macron’s links to the club. Collaboration with Bolton Wanderers began back in 2014 and, until 2018, covered both the supply of technical teamwear and the name of the stadium, which was known as the Macron Stadium in that period.
This latest contract renewal will ensure the continuous supply of fully customised game sets and sportswear for players and staff in coming years. In addition, starting next season, the supporters of Bolton Wanderers will be able to purchase an Athleisure clothing collection customised with the team’s colours and logos.
Macron and the club’s staff will also work together to renovate and modernise the store in the Toughsheet Community Stadium with a view to offering fans a more interactive and exciting shopping experience.
“Our ties with Bolton Wanderers are really important to us as they represent a significant phase in our history,” commented Gianluca Pavanello, Chief Executive Officer at Macron. “The club is part of the history of English football and it is an exciting challenge for us to develop new game sets for the players every year, along with merchandise for a fan base that is passionate about the colours and symbols of the club. We are delighted to extend our partnership for the long term. This agreement goes beyond the supply of technical teamwear. It is based on true friendship and mutual respect, and these values allow us to collaborate on the creation and development of innovative, unique and high-performance products.”
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers said: “We are delighted to extend our long-held partnership with Macron. “There is so much history already between the two brands and we are pleased to have strengthened our links in the past couple of years. The Macron team are superb to work with and are real champions of Bolton Wanderers. Kit sales are at an all-time high at the Club and their support for our Pick Our Kits initiative alongside the quality and innovation of their products has played a crucial part in that. My thanks go to Gianluca Pavanello, Roberto Casolari, Marco Bettella and all the team at Macron for their work to bring this renewed deal to life. We look forward to continuing to work together for many years to come.”
