Respect for tradition in the new “home” shirt of Northampton Saints

Northampton Saints, the historic English Rugby club, that had a great season in the Gallagher Premiership, has presented the new “Home” kit that the team will wear in matches at the cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens next season. These new, stylish, exclusive and high-performance shirts are characterised by a modern design and use of a new technical fabric.

The latest kit respects the tradition of the club’s “Home” shirt featuring all three of the club’s historic colours: black, green and gold. The polo neck, shoulders and sleeves are black while the body (front and back) is green with four horizontal bands, arranged at a distance one from the other and formed by two smaller black stripes with a larger, gold one in the middle. The same graphic device reappears on the back of the shirt, this time with three horizontal bands. The club’s colours and badge decorate the backneck. The Macron Hero logo appears in a dye-sub print on the right of the chest while the Northampton Saints club badge appears over the heart.

The home kit is completed by black shorts with side bands that repeat the graphics of the shirt. The socks are green with two black-gold-black bands and a knitted black cuff.

The Body fit shirt is made mainly from Armevo fabric with bodytex and strong mesh inserts. In addition to great strength, this new fabric also ensures lightness, excellent fit and great breathability. The “Home” kit is available from the online store of the Northampton Saints, and from the section of the Macron website dedicated to this English rugby club macron.com.
