Innovative style and refined design  for the shirts of Hannover 96

Innovative style, a refined design and graphics, high-performance textiles and the use of Eco-Fabric – proof of the commitment to sustainability and the environment shared by club and technical sponsor – are the key features of the new match kits designed and made by Macron for Hannover 96, the historical German club that plays in the Zweite Bundesliga.

The new “Home” shirt of ‘Die Roten’ is red with a knitted Mandarin neck in a darker shade and a two-button closure. The club’s colours, team logo and the motto “NIEMALS ALLEIN!” (“Never alone!”) are reproduced on the backneck. The motto is repeated on the back of the neck too. The shirt is characterised by a pattern of diagonal checks in a tone-on-tone dye-sub print that fades away when it reaches the height of the sponsor’s logo. The same graphic design, in an all-over embossed print, is repeated on the back. The Macron Hero logo appears on the right breast and the club badge of Hannover 96 on the left. The shirt hem is trimmed with tape on the inside and customised with the words “YES TO FOOTBALL, NO TO RACISM”. The “home” kit is completed by black shorts and white socks with two black and green bands.

The “Away” shirt is in black and green. A dye-sub printed graphic on the front of the shirt produces a striking optical effect based on a large number of dots in black, white and green, the colours of the club. This original exercise in style makes this technical garment, designed and produced by Macron, even more unique. The backneck is customised in this shirt too and the motto NIEMALS ALLEIN! again appears on the back of the shirt at neck level. The breast is decorated with a white Macron Hero logo and with the club badge on the left. The shorts and socks are in black. The socks also feature two black and green bands.

The “Third game” shirt is a crew neck garment in water green. The hem is trimmed in black, white and water green and the black sleeves are trimmed in the same way. The shirt stands out for an embossed, optical effect graphic that covers the entire front and features a motif symbolising speed and power. The backneck and the back at neck level are customised with the same motto as the Home and Away shirts, and the same customised tape is applied to the bottom. This time, the Macron Hero on the breast is black and the club badge of Hannover 96 is reproduced in negative. The shorts are water green with black details and the socks, also in water green, have a black cuff.

All three shirts are slim fit. Made mainly from Eco-Softlock fabric with Eco-Mesh inserts, the new kit is particularly light and thoroughly breathable.
