The Paramatta Eels Indigenous Jersey is a work of art

The history, symbols, colours and identity of the Parramatta Eels, an Australian Rugby League Club that plays in the NRL Telstra Premiership, are meticulously represented in the Indigenous Jersey produced by Macron, the club's technical sponsor, based on drawings by contemporary Aboriginal artist Sean Kinchela. The jersey exemplifies the ability to combine the technicality of materials with the creative, graphic and artistic expertise of the Italian brand's style and design team.

A harmonious blend of blue and golden colours the Indigenous Jersey, enriched with symbols and drawings from Aboriginal history as a tribute to the club’s territory and to the Burramattagal people, the local tribe established in Parramatta. The jersey has a golden yellow mandarin collar and sleeve edges. The entire front features graphics and symbols that "narrate" the story and identity of the Parramatta Eels. On the chest, on a yellow background with a faded effect, a boomerang stands out in blue, while below it, the graphic of the eel takes centre-stage.

On the shoulders, in white, the Macron Hero presides. The NRL logo is on the right-side of the chest, whilst on the left is the Parramatta Eels crest. Flowers of different sizes appear on the back, while the design of the eel appears again at the bottom. On the back neck, on a yellow background, the year of the club's foundation is printed (1947).
