Total-black for the new Away Kit made by Macron for Wrexham AFC

Wrexham AFC has completed the unveiling of its game sets made by Macron for the upcoming 2024/25 season. The latest to be unveiled is the new Away Kit that the Welsh club will use in EFL League One matches. As with the Welsh club’s other jerseys, the dragon is the leading theme of the graphic design, in this case, on a black base.

The new Away shirt is ‘total-black’, with a knitted polo collar and sleeve edges embellished with a fine white stripe. The jersey features an all-over tone-on-tone pattern in sublimation print, with the repeated pattern of the dragon’s scales, the team’s symbol. The inner back neck label is customized with a white-green-gold diagonal band in the centre of a red background. It features the club crest, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus.

The Macron Hero is featured in a white silicone print on the right of the chest. The Wrexham AFC crest, made from white silicone printing on a black fabric background, is applied on the left side. On the outer back neck, the image of the wheel placed over the mine is printed in white. It is a memorial to the 266 men lost in the underground explosion and fire at the Gresford Colliery near Wrexham. Black shorts and socks with a fine white stripe on the top edge complete the kit.

Wrexham AFC's new Away kit, just like the Home and Third kits and all the others made by Macron for its partner clubs, is made from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from post-consumer plastic recycling. The main fabric is Eco Softlock. The presence of the Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts ensures the garment’s lightness and perfect breathability.
