S.P.A.L.’s new Away kit is made by Macron in collaboration with Slam Jam

S.P.A.L’s new ‘Away’ shirt for 2024/25 embodies a perfect blend of technical performance and creativity. S.P.A.L.’S new ‘Away’ game kit is produced by Macron and designed in collaboration with SLAM JAM, the world-famous, Ferrara-based lifestyle clothing brand that has been celebrating underground and streetwear culture for over thirty years. The new kit is being presented simultaneously to supporters and to the press at the June 2024 Paris Fashion Week and it represents the beginning of a wider collaboration between the two entities from Ferrara.

The club’s new 2024/25 Away shirt maintains all the traditional references but revisits them in a modern and innovative key, with clever graphics and a distinctive design. The polo-neck shirt has knitted collar and cuffs and features the classic S.P.A.L. stripes but in black and silver – the colours of SLAM JAM – and with a “Noise” effect background. Particularly effective are the graphics in the centre of the shirt where the stripes invert in an optical illusion. S.P.A.L.’s usual ‘Columbia’ blue is still present in the neck details, the contrasting bottom hem stitching and the ‘S.P.A.L. FERRARA.’ print behind the neck. Also at the bottom of the shirt is a custom tape bearing the SLAM JAM logo and name alongside the logo and motto of the club: ARS et LABOR.

The inside neck is customised with a black label with silver border, bearing the SLAM JAM logo and the S.P.A.L. badge with the motto ‘Ars et Labor’. Also present is the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. Silicone printed on the right of the chest are the Macron Hero and the SLAM JAM logo. The S.P.A.L. badge appears on the left over the heart. The kit is completed by black shorts with side bands that repeat the graphics of the shirt and with silver stripes around the leg bottoms. The socks are in black too, with a slender blue line around the top.

The Slim Fit shirt has Eco-Mesh inserts for reduced weight and perfect breathability and is made from Eco Everton, a material derived entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic, with a shiny wet look that emphasises the fashion origins of the design and produces a striking visual effect thanks to its shimmering appearance. Macron applies advanced technology and stylistic innovation to all the garments it makes for its sponsored clubs, in keeping with the brand’s deep commitment to sustainability and the environment.

The new ‘Away’ kit, along with all other garments that Macron makes for S.P.A.L., can be purchased on store.spalferrara.it and from the section of the macron.com website dedicated to the Ferrarese club.
