Red and blue optical graphics on Bologna Fc’s new Third shirt

Bologna Fc 1909 chose the date of the club’s 114^th anniversary to present the last of the match kits for the 2023-2024 season. The new Third game shirt features the colours red and blue entwined in a high-impact, all-over, optical graphic design. Like the Home and Away shirts, the Third match shirt is made entirely from Eco Fabric, a material obtained from 100% recycled plastic, confirming the commitment to the environment and sustainability shared by Macron and Bologna Fc 1909.

Bologna’s new ‘Third’ shirt for 2023/24 features a crew neck with knitted blue trim embellished by a slender red line, which also appears on the sleeve cuffs. The shirt has a white background decorated with an all-over red and blue graphic design comprising abstract, wavy lines that weave together to form an elegant optical effect. The inside label comes in the colours of Bologna and bears the motto “LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA” (“The team that makes the world tremble”) along with the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and produced at at the headquarters of the team’s technical sponsor. The club’s other motto, “WE ARE ONE” is printed in red at the back of the neck. The Macron Hero logo is silicone printed in blue on the right breast with the logo of Bologna FC 1909 on the left.

The shorts come in three alternative versions: the new red version, with a blue drawstring and diagonal blue bands on the front of the right leg and back of the left, and the blue or white ones with diagonal bands in red, already unveiled together with the Home and Away shirts. The socks are blue with “BOLOGNA” written on the front and a “V” on the calf, both in red.

The new Third game shirt is a Body Fit garment. It is made mainly from Eco Fabric – Eco Sirena Light in particular – with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back to reduce weight and improve breathability.
