Northampton Saints: a new Home kit and a new club crest for the Champions of England
It has been an incredible summer for Northampton Saints, the famous English rugby club who won the English Premiership for the second time in their history last month in front of a packed-out Twickenham Stadium. It has also been a summer of change with the official presentation of a new Home kit and, on the same occasion, the launch of an all-new Club crest for Saints. In addition to the Macron Hero, the latest kit features a new Northampton Saints logo in place of the one used on the Club’s kits since the 1980s. While conforming to the Club’s traditions, the new shirt is characterised by technical and stylistic innovations and, like all the game kits that Macron produces for its partnered clubs, is made from Eco-Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled, post-consumer plastic.
Northampton Saints’ Home shirt for 2024/25 has a green polo neck and, on the front and back, the Club’s traditional broad horizontal green and black stripes bordered in golden yellow. The colours of green and golden yellow are repeated on the sleeve cuffs. The inside neck label is customised in the colours of the Club and bears the new crest of Northampton Saints along with that of Macron and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
The Macron Hero appears in white on the right of the chest. The badge of Northampton Saints appears on the left and, just above it, a gold star representing the Club’s historic victory in the Heineken Champions Cup at Twickenham in the year 2000. The shorts are in black with white drawstrings and green details on the sides. The socks are in black with two horizontal green bands bordered in golden yellow, and a golden yellow band around the top.
The Body Fit shirt is made mainly from Eco-Armevo but with Eco-Boditex and Eco-Strong Mesh inserts for reduced weight and superior performance, strength and breathability.
