NEW FC VIKTORIA PLZEŇ JERSEYS COMBINE COLOUR, GRAPHICS AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Iconic Czech club FC Viktoria Plzeň and Macron have unveiled their new match kits for the 2021/22 season, during which the club will celebrate its 110th anniversary. In addition to incorporating the club's colours, detailing and symbols, the kits also aim to raise awareness around environmental sustainability through the use – for the second strip – of Eco-Softlock, a 100% polyester material made from recycled plastic, with Global Recycled Standard certification.
The new Home jersey is blue with a chunky vertical stripe in red running down the centre, with the words 110 LET FC VIKTORIA PLZEŇ (110 years of FC Viktoria PlzeÅ) printed repeatedly inside this. The red stripe also has a worn-effect graphic in blue applied to it, adding a vintage feel to the shirts. The shirts feature red trim around the crewneck collar and at the sleeves, while the back of the neck sports the club colours and is embellished with the same anniversary wording as the front of the jerseys. The rear of the collar features the letters FCVP (Football Club Viktoria Plzeň), printed in white, with the Macron Hero in silicone is positioned on the right breast and the club crest sitting on the left. The completely new second set follows the first jersey with its design, but it is in a modern style, clean in graphics and, above all, thanks to the Eco-Softlock technology, ecological! Eco-Softlock is made from 100% recycled plastic and is certified by the Global Recycled Standard, with 13 half-litre plastic bottles recycled for every shirt produced. Recycled PET polyester also has the added advantage of using less energy during the production cycle than other materials.
The navy blue second jersey features a crewneck collar with red trim. Two vertical stripes – one red, one blue – are positioned on the left side, with both featuring an embossed, worn effect. A silicone printed Macron Hero logo in white adorns the right breast, while a negative of the club crest is positioned on the left, over the two stripes.
