Lech Poznan reveals the new ‘Home’ colours for the 23-24 season
Top-flight Polish club Lech Poznan enjoyed an excellent last season in the ‘Ekstraklasa’, the country’s top division, with the “kolejarze” (railway workers) qualifying for the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The club has now presented its new ‘Home’ colours for next season. Designed and developed in close collaboration with the styling department of Macron, technical partner to the club which has recently celebrated 100 years of history, the new kit combines traditional colours with stylish, innovative graphics. The shirt is made from Eco Fabric, a material obtained entirely from recycled plastic.
The new ‘Home’ shirt is in royal blue with light blue and white details on the crew neck and sleeve cuffs. The front and sleeves of the shirt are a mix of royal blue and a dye-sub printed darker blue that traces fading, broken diagonal stripes arranged to form a ‘V’ shape.
The inside neck label is customised with the colours and logo of the club, the letters ‘KKS LECH POZNAN’, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’ certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and produced at Macron's Bologna HQ. The Macron Hero logo is embroidered in white on the right of the chest with the club’s badge on the left. The word ‘KOLEJORZ’, the team’s nickname in Polish, is embroidered in white at the back of the neck. It means ‘Railway Workers’ and derives from the fact that between 1933 and 1994, Lech Poznan was owned and managed by the Polish state railway company.
The Slim Fit shirt is made mainly from Eco Softlock fabric. A back panel in Eco Micromesh and Eco Mesh inserts give the garment lightness and excellent breathability. The Polish club’s new ‘Home’ kit can be purchased from the macron.com website.
