A few weeks after the historic win in the United Rugby Championship, the second in their history, the Glasgow Warriors are already thinking about the new season, which will kick off in three days at the Lanfranchi Stadium against Zebre Parma in a friendly match. The Scottish club has unveiled the new Home and Alternate 2024/25 kits made by Macron, which, through the colours and symbols represented in the jerseys’ design, express the identity and sense of belonging of the Glasgow Warriors to their history and territory.

The new Glasgow Warriors Home jersey is completely black and has a mandarin collar. The graphic motif that characterises the jersey is the design of the Celtic knot, repeated in embossed graphics on both the front and back. It is a typical element of the Celtic tradition, recalling the club’s strong link with the cultural identity of the Glasgow, Western Scotland and Caledonia regions territory. On the chest, on the right and embroidered in white, is the Macron Hero, and on the left is the Glasgow Warriors crest in a monochrome white version on a black background. The backneck label is customised with the club colours, the graphics that distinguish both jerseys, the Glasgow Warriors crest, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The inside of the collar is customised with a sweatband with the club's motto, ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’, printed in white on the outside back neck as well. The black shorts have the graphic design of the shirt on the sides and upper back, while the socks, also black, have the Macron Hero on the front and the writing GLASGOW WARRIORS on the back.

The Alternate version, again with a mandarin collar, is light blue with wide white horizontal bands on the front, back, and sleeves. Inside the blue bands is the sublimation print graphic with the Celtic knot design. The backneck is customised as in the Home version. The tape on the inside of the collar also features the club’s motto, ‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’, printed in black on the outside backneck as well. The Macron Hero is embroidered in black on the chest next to the Scottish club crest. The shorts are white with white and blue horizontal bands on the sides, with the same graphic motif on the inside as on the jersey. The light blue socks have, in the centre, a white horizontal band with a fine black stripe.

Both game kits, like all those produced by Macron for its clubs, are made of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric from post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo, and the presence of Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh inserts ensures the garment’s high performance and resistance, along with lightness and perfect breathability. The new 2024/25 kits and the garments of the clothing line created by Macron for the Glasgow Warriors are available in the space dedicated to the Scottish club on macron.com.
