TRADITION AND INNOVATION IN THE NEW MACRON SHIRTS FOR SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

TRADITION AND INNOVATION IN THE NEW MACRON SHIRTS FOR SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

After the long-term partnership announcement, Sheffield Wednesday and Macron, the Hero company, presented the new match kits that the Owls will wear during the upcoming season.

Colours and traditional lines in the "Home" version, while an "important" chromatic choice has been made for the "Away".

The new "Home" has a mandarin collar with white borders and classic white and blue vertical stripes. The latter colour characterises the sleeves with white knitted edges. The graphic feature that distinguishes the first shirt of the English club is the design, tone on tone, with mosaic effect, present in the blue bands, both in the front and in the lower back. The backneck is personalised with a label that reproduces the shirt's graphics on a blue background and the logo of Sheffield Wednesday. The backneck is embroidered in white with the words WAWAW (We're All Wednesday Aren't We). Double option for the shorts, which can be white with black details or black with blue details; same choice for the socks, either wholly white or black with a blue upper border.

The "Away" version has a decidedly different colour impact, as it is pink. Black edges decorate the mandarin collar and the sleeves. The jersey also features a mosaic effect graphic, in this case in anthracite grey. The inside backneck has the same characteristics as the Home shirt, and the WAWAW logo is embroidered on the back in black. The shorts are black with pink details, while the pink socks have the upper edge with two horizontal black bands.

Both shirts have a Slim Fit, the main fabric is Softlock, and the presence of micromesh inserts allows perfect breathability.

The goalkeepers' uniforms have also been presented, characterised by a geometric woven graphic, embossed and tone on tone. The shirts, all with V-necks with black borders, come in three colours: silver, navy blue and orange.
