M&G Scuola Pallavolo, union of intentions and the volleyball peak in destiny

On the last weekend of April in Grottazzolina - a municipality of 3000 inhabitants in the heart of the province of Fermo between the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains -  athletes, managers and fans of the M&G Scuola Pallavolo experienced a very historic moment in the final playoff of the men's A2 volleyball series against Emma Villas Siena, gaining the promotion to the Volley Superleague  for the first time in its young history. A triumphant ride for Massimiliano Ortenzi's team that rewards the work of an entire society that in a few years has been able to develop and realise a sports project of excellence.

A dream came true

In 2008, two excellences of volleyball in the Marche region, Grottazzolina and Montegiorgio, thanks to the intuition of Rossano Romiti and Massimiliano Ortenzi, gave life to a dynamic and heterogeneous project that overcame anachronistic parochialism to create a sporting reality, the M&G Volleyball School, which by uniting the history of two clubs and working hard at the youth level, managed to transform a dream into an incredible and beautiful reality: reaching the top and sharing a place with the greats of Italian volleyball.

 

Victories always start from the bottom

A winning project like that of the M&G Scuola Pallavolo cannot do without careful planning, a solid youth sector and the right motivation. Investing in young people has always been a primary objective of the Marche management where, alongside the sporting aspect, the social and community impact have always played a fundamental role. The numbers and initiatives (Volleyville, M&G Kids Volley Challenge, Beach Volley Young Academy) are concrete proof of this. A movement that is no longer just city-based, but rather territorial, with the constant increase in membership and the entry of many young people into the club's ranks. M&G's volleyball starts from the men's and women's under13s up to the senior team.

Always believe, never give up

Sport is healthy competition and whoever wears a jersey on which the Macron Hero stands out knows that continuous commitment, passion, team spirit, and awareness of one's own means, combined with the healthy values that sport represents, always bring results and make one achieve the goals one sets oneself. The boys of the M&G Volleyball School have been able to turn all this into a splendid reality. They have found the right motivation, put their skills and heart into play, and have given all those who have always believed in them the joy of a promotion that will remain an indelible page in the history of the 'young' club from the Marche region.
