Tradition and refined graphics on Macron’s new Home kit for FK Austria Wien

Following their announcement of a long-term partnership agreement, Macron and FK Austria Wien have now presented the new 2024/25 ‘Home’ kit that Die Veilchen (the Violets) will wear next season wheneve they play at the Generali Arena. While the new kit is firmly traditional in concept, it features stylish and elegant geometric details.

FK Austria Wien’s new ‘Home’ shirt comes in the club’s classic violet colour with black details on the neck and sleeve cuffs. The inside neck label is customised with the same graphics as the shirt itself along with the name ‘AUSTRIAWIEN’, the club’s logo and that of Macron, plus the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The Macron Hero is printed in silicone on the right of the chest, with the badge of FK Austria Wien on the left. The team’s historic nickname, VEILCHEN is printed in white behind the neck.

The shirt is covered in all-over, water-colour effect, dye-sub graphics that pay homage to the city of Vienna and its world famous, rich artistic heritage. The shirt is further embellished with a fashion-inspired, embossed pattern of repeating floral images depicting the violet, the flower and colour that have always identified this Austrian club. At the bottom of the shirt, the inside tape is customised with the words ‘WIEN SIND WIR – WIR SIN WIEN’ (Vienna is us – We are Vienna) interspersed with the club’s badge.

The new ‘Home’ kit is completed by violet shorts with stylistic elements derived from the world of basketball and with black stripes around the leg bottoms. The socks too are violet in colour with two horizontal black stripes just below the cuff. The Slim Fit shirt is made mainly from Eco Softlock with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for less weight and improved breathability. These Eco Fabric materials are made entirely from recycled plastic, confirming the commitment to sustainability and the environment that Macron shares with FK Austria Wien.
