The club’s values and philosophy in the new Macron Away Kit for A.J. Auxerre

AJ Auxerre completes the unveiling of the game kits they will wear for the 2024/25 season in Ligue 1. A few days after presenting the new Third kit, it is now the turn of the Away kit, which, through an innovative design, expresses the values and philosophy of the French club.

The Away shirt is black with a mandarin collar and knitted sleeve cuffs featuring fine white stripes. What characterises it is its all-over embossed pattern that features the AJ Auxerre badge alternated with words that represent the club’s values and philosophy: Solidarité (solidarity), Travail(work), Enthousiasme (enthusiasm), Esprit Collectif (team spirit), Rigueur (rigour), Humilité (humility), Plaisir(pleasure), Ambition (ambition), and Unité (unity).

The inside neck label is customised with a background replicating the shirt’s geometric graphics. Alongside the AJ Auxerre emblem is the phrase “A JAMAIS NOUS SERONS, FIERS D'ÊTRE AUXERROIS” (Proud to be from Auxerre as long as we shall live), a line from a famous chant sung by the club’s supporters, featured on the silicone tape that runs inside the bottom hem as well. The backneck also includes the Macron logo and the words Designed in Bologna, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The letters’ AJ AUXERRE’ are printed in white behind the neck.

The Macron Hero is silicone-printed in white on the right side of the chest, while the club’s crest badge appears on the left. The shorts are black with blue drawstrings and the socks are black with two thin blue and white stripes around the waist.

The new Away shirt is Body Fit, and the main fabric used for this version is Eco Piola. An Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts reduce weight and improve breathability.
