MACRON IS THE NEW TECHNICAL SPONSOR OF THE NATIONAL FOOTGOLF LEAGUE

Macron has hit a hole-in-one and he has done it with a football. The Italian brand, international leader in teamwear design and production, is now the new technical sponsor of the League of National Footgolf, a sport discipline that conjugates ball skills and precision, substituting clubs with feet, golf balls with footballs and enlarging the holes to 50 cm, thus recreating the magic of a 18-hole golf field.

Macron and LFN have officialized their partnership, sealed by a handshake between Giovanni Maruzzi, Macron CSO, and Diego Fuser, president of the league and former football player for the Italian national team, with a long career in the A series where he wore the jerseys of Turin, Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio, Parma and Rome. Fuser, who shares the passion for this sport with other former football players, has been leading the LFN since last December. The Genoa Macron Store is in charge of the operational management of Macron provisions to the LFN.

The agreement comes as yet another confirmation of Macron’s determination to offer competence and textile quality and technicity to the new growing sport disciplines, animated by passion and the ambition to reach for the top. The Macron Hero on the LFN shirts will express the spirit of a community that shares love and devotion for the sport. In conjunction with the partnership agreement, Macron and LFN representatives have started to work on the making of the new game kits, clothes collections and merchandising lines.

Footgolf was born in Holland in 2009. In Italy, it began acquiring popularity in 2014, and since then the Italian chapter has become one of the largest in the world. LFN is the entity propelling the movement, in charge of organizing the many events marking an exciting game season that, from now on, will have another arrow to shoot, that of the Macron Hero that shines on the shirts of the “footgolfers” who are engaged on the Italian grass.
