Navy blue and silver on Macron’s new Away Kit for Connacht Rugby

Two weeks after presenting their Home kit, Connacht Rugby, the Irish club that joined the great Macron rugby family last year, has revealed a new Away kit for the 2024/2025 season. Silver and navy blue are the primary colours of this game set, complemented as usual by refined and elegant graphics.

Connacht Rugby’s new Away shirt has a navy blue polo neck and sleeve cuffs with petrol green details. The shoulders, sleeves and top part of the shirt are in blue navy, but this fades gradually, first into dark silver and then into light silver towards the bottom. The back of the shirt is all in light silver. The graphics consist of thin, broken, tone-on-tone lines that suggest a movement like a sound wave. The graphics on the front of the shirt are dye-sub printed, while those on the shoulders and sleeves are embossed in a gentle relief.

The customised inside neck label is in dark green with two diagonal lines in a brighter green (colours taken from the Home shirt). The Connacht Rugby logo appears along with the Macron logo and the words Designed in Bologna, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The Macron Hero is dye-sub printed in silver in the centre of the chest. The Connacht Rugby badge, also dye-sub printed in silver, appears to the left.

The Away kit is completed with navy blue shorts with silver drawstrings and silver socks with a navy blue band containing two petrol green stripes at the top. Three inverted triangles at calf height are also in petrol green. This Body Fit shirt is made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material 100% derived from post-consumer recycled plastic that Macron uses for the kits of all partner clubs. The shirt is made mainly from Eco-Armevo but with Eco-Boditex and Eco-Strong Mesh inserts for superior strength and performance, reduced weight and improved breathability.
