Macron is the Italian Bocce Federation’s new technical partner
Macron is the new and exclusive Official Supplier of sportswear to FIB, the Italian Bocce Federation. The new partnership agreement, covering the three years from 2024 to 2027, foresees the supply sportswear and accessories to the players, coaches, staff and umpires of all the sporting disciplines governed by FIB, from Raffa al Volo to Beach Bocce, Petanque, Boccia and Paralympic Bocce.
Macron and the Italian Bocce Federation first came together years ago when the Valsamoggia-based company was just beginning the rapid expansion that has established it as international leader in the production and sale of teamwear and sportswear, and as official supplier to some of the most prestigious national and international sport federations.
In recent years, bocce disciplines have made great strides in Italy in terms of image and communication, obtaining prestigious results and acquiring a unique record in competitions. Along with sporting and competitive values, the bocce movement is also characterised by friendship, sharing, inclusion, promotion and a transversal approach to a game that is played throughout Italy and worldwide without distinctions of sex, age or social class. Bocce is a universal sport in the true sense of the word.
“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with FIB, the Italian Bocce Federation,” declared Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “As an Italian company we are particularly proud to serve as technical supplier to an Italian federation. Bocce embodies the best traditions of popular sport but has been able to innovate and grow, becoming popular even with young people. We are very happy to work alongside the FIB and to supply their members with top-quality, high-tech sportswear that will enable them to perform to the best of their ability and that will convey a sense of pride in our national colours thanks to careful and elegant design.”
“Macron,” stated Marco Giunio De Sanctis, president of FIB, “has been eager to invest in our sport and we thank the company for this on behalf of the entire Italian bocce movement, with its clear focus on social and sporting values. This is an extremely important agreement for FIB, and will help promote all the specialities that, with the help of the Federal Council and Regional Committees, we have been working hard to promote in every region of Italy since the first year of my presidency.”
