Elegance and tradition for FC Nantes’ new shirts

FC Nantes has revealed new match kits in preparation for the upcoming 2023-2024 season of the Ligue 1. The new shirts keep the club’s traditional colours but add graphic details that give them a touch of elegance and style. The shirts also convey a message of sustainability and respect for the environment, being made in Eco Fabric by Macron, technical sponsor of ‘Les Canaris’. Eco Fabric is a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic and certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. 

The new ‘Home’ shirt is yellow and has a knitted green polo neck with a yellow stripe. The sleeve cuffs repeat the same colour combination. The inside neck label is customised with the club’s colours and logo and with the motto ‘On est Nantes’, along with the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed, and produced at Macron's Bologna HQ. The Macron Hero and the FC Nantes badge are silicone printed on the chest. Eight stars embroidered on the back of the neck represent the eight French Championship titles the club has won. The entire shirt is covered in thin, tone on tone, embossed vertical stripes. The shorts are yellow with green drawstrings and the socks, also yellow, have a green band with a yellow stripe running around the top.

The ‘Away’ shirt has a polo neck and sleeve cuffs in yellow with a thin green stripe. The rest of the shirt is white with a series of dye-sub printed green lines running across the bottom part of the front. The back and sleeves feature embossed, tone on tone ermine motifs, a symbol of the club and of the Brittany region. The inside neck label is identical to that of the ‘Home’ shirt and eight green stars are embroidered at the back of the neck. The Macron Hero and club badge, also in green, are silicone printed on the chest. The shorts are white and the socks are also white, however with thin green stripes around the middle and two yellow and green bands at the top.

The Slim Fit shirt is made mainly from Eco Softlock with Eco Mesh inserts for reduced weight and improved breathability. The new ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ shirts, like all other articles of teamwear produced for FC Nantes by Macron, can be purchased from the section of the macron.com website dedicated to the club.
