An exclusive design and a homage to Selhurst Park on Macron’s 2024/25 Home kits for Crystal Palace FC

The eagle of Crystal Palace FC takes centre stage on the new Home kit for 2024/25 designed by Macron and presented by the London club a few weeks after the end of a record equalling season in the Premier League. The red and blue colours that have always characterised the Eagles’ shirts are combined with a stylish and exclusive all-over graphic design. While the creative graphics give the kit a unique look, a homage to the centenary of Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace FC’s historic home, plays an equally important role.

Crystal Palace FC’s new 2024/25 ‘Home’ shirt is a crew neck garment with ribbed collar and cuffs. The traditional red and blue vertical stripes are recreated by a spray-effect graphic on which the eagle of the club’s logo is reproduced in tone-on-tone colours. The ‘low poly art’ motif uses simple geometric shapes to create an abstract, stylised eagle and give the shirt a modern, visually striking, fashion-inspired look. The same graphic motif appears on the inside neck label along with the club logo, the motto ‘SOUTH LONDON AND PROUD’, the Macron Hero and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.

The Macron logo is printed in white silicone on the right of the chest, while the badge of Crystal Palace FC, also in silicone, appears on the left. Another important detail is embroidered in white behind the neck: two dates, 1924 – 2024 and the name ‘SELHURST PARK’ celebrate the centenary of the famous stadium that is home to Crystal Palace FC. Selhust Park, the Eagles’ historic home, was inaugurated in 1924 with a match against Sheffield Wednesday which drew a crowd of 25,000. The new ‘Home’ kit is completed by blue shorts with red bands down the sides and the same exclusive graphics as the shirt. The socks are blue with two thin red and white lines around the top.

Like all the game sets produced by Macron for partnered clubs, Crystal Palace FC’s new ‘Home’ kit is made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material made entirely from recycled plastic. This choice confirms the commitment to sustainability and the environment shared by technical sponsor and club alike.
