Macron supports Bologna's Two Towers with a 100,000 euros donation and a special shirt

Macron's heart beats for Bologna. The roots of a company are the foundation of a business that is born and grows in a territory. Macron and Bologna are an indissoluble pair. Identity is fundamental for a company, for a brand. This is why Macron's Board of Directors, on 1 December, decided to contribute 100,000 euros to securing and consolidating the Garisenda Tower, a symbol of the city's identity.

The Emilian brand's initiative, which the Municipality of Bologna flanks, demonstrates the Crespellano-based company's strong bond with the city. A choice of doing that has always distinguished Macron's activity, often in the front line in favour of social and solidarity initiatives. The relationship between Macron and Bologna is of strong intensity, and the sense of belonging to this city and the territory it represents is also amply demonstrated in the writing 'Designed in Bologna' on each garment of the Emilian company, which highlights how it is conceived, designed and developed in the Bologna headquarters of the Italian brand.

Along with the contribution of 100,000 euros that was announced during the joint press conference with the Municipality of Bologna, which was attended by Matteo Lepore, Mayor of Bologna, Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, announced the creation of a special t-shirt dedicated to the Towers of Bologna. The shirt, which features a special graphic with the words 'WE LOVE BOLO' on the front, is already on sale at the Macron Sports Hub Bologna, the Macron Stores in Gran Reno, Rastignano and Galleria Cavour, the Bologna Welcome shop and online at macron.com.

Macron will add part of the proceeds from the sale of this special t-shirt to the amount already earmarked by the Bologna-based company to support the work to protect the Garisenda Tower.

"It was not at all difficult to make this decision. - commented Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron - Macron and Bologna have always been the same thing, and for this reason, we have donated 100,000 euros for our city and for a monument symbol of Bologna. Giving Bologna, in a concrete form, the love we receive from her every day was our duty. In our way, we also wanted to make a special T-shirt in which part of the proceeds would be added to the sum already donated. The Garisenda Tower is everyone's heritage, and I am sure the contribution to save it will come from everywhere."
