Traditional black and yellow with a green soul for the new shirts of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg

One month before the official start of the new season, MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg, the German basketball club that regularly finishes among the leaders of the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga, has presented the new match kits the team will wear for the championship due to start on 29 September with a match against Hamburg. MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg will also be competing in the Basketball Champions League, in which their first match will be against AEK Athens, another club that wears Macron teamwear.

The new kits of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg maintain the team’s traditional colours of black and yellow along with the club’s identifying logos but, just like last season, these will be combined with a clear message of respect for the environment. This is because Macron’s shirts are made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic.

The new ‘Home’ shirt is yellow with black and white trim around the top part of the neck. The same colour combination is repeated on the arm holes and side bands. The custom inside label features the colours and logo of the club, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron's Bologna headquarters. The hashtag #IHRUNDWIR is printed on the back just below the neck. The Macron Hero appears on the right chest. Beneath this is the badge of MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg. The logo of easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga appears on the left of the shirt, over the heart. The graphics that distinguish the new shirt consist of pairs of thin vertical stripes at the front and back, in a slightly more intense yellow, formed by fine diagonal lines that create a dynamic and extremely elegant effect. The same graphic pattern also appears on the yellow shorts, which have a black leg bottom with a thin white line.

The ‘Away’ shirt is black with yellow trim around the upper part of the neck. A yellow line also decorates the arm holes and sides. The graphic design of the ‘Away’ shirt is identical to that of the ‘Home’ version. In this case, though, the two vertical stripes are formed by diagonal lines in dark grey. The custom neck label comes in two colours, black and yellow, and bears the logos of MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg and Macron. The hashtag #IHRUNDWIR is printed in yellow on the back, under the neck. The black shorts repeat the same graphics as the shirt and have a thin yellow line around the leg bottoms.

The match kit is completed by a yellow warm-up shirt with a black crew neck and the same vertical striped graphics as the match shirt. The match shirts themselves are regular fit and are made mainly from Eco micromesh, with Eco mesh inserts for lightness and perfect breathability.
