Tradition and an innovative fabric in the new SC Heerenveen Home kit made by Macron

The SC Heerenveen, Dutch team that plays in Eredivisie, has unveiled its new 2024/25 home shirt, which combines traditional colours and symbols with the choice of an innovative, high-performance fabric. The kit is in fact made of Eco Jaquard Performance, embellished by the insertion of a decorative motif directly into the weave of the fabric, with 3D effects in the central part of the chest and on the sides. The jersey is also a tribute to what has been the club’s home since 1994, namely the Abe Lenstra Stadium, named after the footballer who was born in the Dutch city and who for a long time wore the SC Heerenveen jersey.

The new Home 2024/25 of SC Heerenveen has a mandarin collar with a knitted edge and features the traditional blue and white vertical stripes. In the white parts are inserted, in sublimation graphics, the red petals of pompeblêd, characteristic of the club’s crest and of the flag of Friesland, the province in the north of the Netherlands where the city the club represents is located. The backneck is customised with the logo and colours of SC Heerenveen, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Macron Campus.

The two dates 1994-2024, celebrating 30 years since the Dutch club’s debut on the pitch at the Abe Lenstra Stadium, are printed on the outer back neck. On the chest, embroidered in white, is the Macron Hero on the right, and the SC Heerenveen crest on the left. Double option for the shorts, which can be either white with blue drawstrings or blue with white drawstrings.

The new Home, like all the technical garments made by Macron for its clubs, is made of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric from post-consumer plastic recycling. In the case of SC Heerenveen, the jersey is in Eco Jaquard Performance with the presence of the back panel in Eco Micromesh and the Eco Mesh inserts that ensure maximum breathability to the garment.

SC Heerenveen’s new Home kit will be avilable soon in the Dutch club’s dedicated space on macron.com.
