The town symbols in the 2024/25 Away kit of Bolton Wanderers FC made by Macron

The close ties with their hometown is the main theme of the new Away kit that Bolton Wanderers FC unveiled and will wear during the upcoming season in EFL League One. A jersey that was also chosen by Wanderers fans who participated in the ‘Pick Our Kits’ poll. An elegant shade of green and an exclusive design characterise this kit, which in addition to the symbols expressing the club’s identity, confirms the shared commitment with the technical sponsor on environmental and sustainability issues. All kits for the 2024/25 season of Bolton Wanderers FC, as well as those of the previous season and those of all the other professional clubs partnered with Macron, are entirely made with Eco Fabric, obtained 100% from post-consumer plastic recycling.

The new ‘Away’ jersey has a korean collar in white knitwear with red-blue edging, the same colour combination being present on the sleeve edges. The shirt is dark green and on the front body and sleeves it features an embossed graphic with repeated designs depicting Bolton castle and elephant. This animal is in fact a symbol found in the town’s coat of arms, the two important elements of the town’s history imprinted in the fabric of the team’s jersey. On the chest, on the right and in white, the Macron Hero, on the left the coat of arms of the Bolton Wanderers.

The backneck is customised with the colours and crest of the English club, along with the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’ certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Macron Campus. On the bottom of the jersey is a siliconised inner tape personalised with the repeated wording THE ONE AND ONLY WANDERERS. On the outside backcollar is printed in white the writing WANDERERS. The shorts are white with dark green details, the green socks have a white upper border with two fine red and blue horizontal stripes.

The new ‘Away’ kit has a Slim Fit and it is made entirely from Eco Softlock fabrics with an Eco Micromesh panel on the back that makes the garment lighter and more breathable. All the game kits made by Macron for Bolton Wanderers are available in the English club’s dedicated space on macron.com.
