The new Nottingham Forest ‘home’ shirt: the Garibaldi red returns to shine on Premier League pitches

After 23 years, the 'Garibaldi red' of Nottingham Forest's Home shirts is back on the Premier League pitch. The Tricky Trees, who won the Championship playoff final last May to return to the English top-flight, have officially presented the new 'Home' jersey designed by Macron, the club's technical partner and a leading international company in the teamwear sector. The kits will accompany Forest in this next chapter of footballing history.

The new 'Home' reaffirms the iconic 'Garibaldi red'. It is round-necked with a knitted border. The sleeves are in a darker shade of red, embellished with a tone-on-tone graphic that speaks to a particular ornament on the vault of Trent Bridge, a historical monument in Nottingham. On the right side of the chest, the Macron Hero - logo of the Italian brand - is embroidered in white, while the coat of arms of Nottingham Forest stands out on the left, heart-side. The internal backneck is personalised with the club's colours and logo, while the external backneck features the embroidered: "COYR", an acronym for 'Come On You Red', one of the most popular chants raised by the Forest fans in the City Ground stands. The shorts are white with side bands and thigh edges in red. The red socks have the Macron Hero on the front and the NFFC acronym on the back.

The jersey has a Slim Fit. The main fabric used is Piola, which gives the jersey a retro-style touch without sacrificing the garment's technicality and modernity. The presence of mesh inserts ensures lightness and perfect breathability. The tradition and symbols of a club combined with stylistic and technological innovation, higher performance fabrics, and innovative graphics - these are the ingredients that characterize the technical Macron garments designed and manufactured for Nottingham Forest.
