The new Home and Away kits designed by Macron for AEK Betsson BC

AEK Betsson BC presented the new Home and Away kits made by Macron that will be worn during the 2024-2025 season of the A1 Ethniki, Greece's top league, as well as special jerseys for the Basketball Champions League. This competition will kick off the season for the Athenians, who will make their home debut against Maccabi Ramat Gan on 1st October. All sets feature the special logo celebrating the club's centenary this season and, like all game kits produced by Macron for its clubs, are made entirely of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from post-consumer recycled plastic.

Regarding the Greek league, the new Home 2024/25 of AEK Betsson BC has a V-neck and black shoulder bands. The tank top is predominantly yellow and is characterised by graphics that fade from black in the upper part, within which the silhouette of the eagle in the club's logo also stands out, also in yellow with a thin black outline. The same graphic is also present on the back, while on the front bottom, a black line traces the skyline of the city of Hagia Sophia. The backneck is customised with a yellow-black label, the club's centenary logo, the Macron logo and the words 'Designed in Bologna' to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, on the right, one below the other and in black, are the special club logo created to mark the 100th anniversary (in 1924 the basketball section of the AEK Athens sports club was founded) and a little further below the Macron Hero. The shorts repeat the graphics of the tank top, this time with yellow at the top fading to black at the bottom.

The Away version reverses the colour choice: at the top, a hint of yellow fades to the black that dominates the shirt. A thin yellow line reveals the silhouette of the eagle, which is, in this case, coloured in black. At the bottom is the skyline of the Hellenic capital, outlined in yellow. The backneck is customised as in the Home version, while the logos are in yellow, the centenary one above the Macron Hero. The shorts are entirely black, with the sidebands and the Macron Hero on the right in yellow.

The kits also include a black Shooting Shirt, which echoes the tone-on-tone graphics of the eagle. The collar, the bands on the sleeves and the sidebands are instead yellow, as is the Macron Hero on the right and the centenary logo on the left.

Regarding the BCL sets, the new V-neck Home shirt retains the social colour scheme of yellow and black. Yellow is the dominant colour, while black is present in the geometric graphics with a faded effect on the shoulders and on the back jersey bottom. The centenary logo is on the right above the Macron Hero, both in black. The shorts feature the same graphic as the jersey on the left thigh, while the Macron Hero is in yellow on the right.

The Away version for Europe also reverses the colour choice. The colour black dominates, with the geometric graphics in yellow and tone-on-tone on the shoulders and the back of the jersey. Also yellow are the AEK BC logo and the Macron Hero. The away kit is completed by black shorts with yellow bands on the hips and thigh border and geometric elements in yellow and tone-on-tone on the left side. The backneck of the BCL sets is customised as in the league version, for both the Away and Home versions.

The European Game Sets of the Athens team also include a black crew-neck Shooting Shirt, which, on the chest and on the back of the shirt, echoes exactly the graphics and colours of the Away shirt.

The new kits have a Regular fit with a main fabric in Eco Baimi and Eco Mesh inserts, which ensure lightness and perfect breathability.
