THE COLOURS AND SYMBOLS OF 146 YEARS OF HISTORY IN BLACKBURN ROVERS' NEW HOME JERSEY BY MACRON

Last May, Macron, the Hero company, announced the agreement with Blackburn Rovers, one of the oldest and most iconic clubs in English football. Iconic as its shirt, that carries 146 years of football history.

Today Rovers play in the Football League Championship, and two weeks before the start of the new season, they presented the new 'Home' shirt by Macron that they will wear at Ewood Park, where they have been playing for over 120 years.

The new 'Home' is the classic and glorious half-white (right) and half-blue (left) jersey. The jersey is a crewneck with blue edges. The backneck is personalised with a label on a blue background with the Club's logo in the centre. On the outer backneck, on a white background, the Blackburn Rovers motto is printed in blue gothic letters Arte et Labore. The Macron Hero is on the right chest, in silicon print and blue, while Blackburn Rovers crest is on the left, on the heart side.

A graphic detail enriches the shirt on the lower front blue band the design of the red rose of Lancaster, the symbol of the Club and the whole county of Lancashire.

White shorts complete the home kit with blue side stripes and blue socks with a white top border. The fit is Slim Fit; the main fabric is Softlock, and micromesh inserts ensure perfect breathability.

The close collaboration between the staff of Blackburn Rovers and Macron's style department has allowed the development and implementation of a kit that reflects the tradition and history of the Club, combining quality, technicality and attention to detail.
