Section Paloise, the green of their shirtssymbolising identity and a sustainable philosophy
Green is the colour that represents Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées, the French rugby team that plays in the French Top 14. The new shirts presented by the Pyrenees XV are in keeping with the tradition of a colour that has become a symbol of the club's identity. Using Eco Fabric, a certified 100% recycled polyester fabric made from PET used by Macron, Pau's long-standing technical partner, a shared green philosophy in respect of sustainability and the environment is highlighted.
The new Home jersey, designed with a polo neck and white sleeve cuffs, is a deep, dark green. The inside of the back neck is personalised on a green and white background with the Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées logo, alongside which are two Béarn cows, a typical breed of cattle in this part of the Pyrenees. On the left, the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna” certify and highlight the fact that each garment is conceived, designed, and developed at the Italian brand's Bologna headquarters. On the outside of the back neckline, just above the GPS pocket, the motto ‘En Vert et Contre Tous’ (In Green and Against All) is printed in white. On the right of the chest is the Macron Hero in white and in the centre is the club’s crest. There is an important graphic detail on the lower back of the jersey: an embossed drawing of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, the mountain symbol of the Pyrenees that surrounds the French town. The shorts are dark green with white ties and the dark green socks have white borders.
The Away shirt, also with a polo collar, features a white central body with dark green shoulders and sleeves. The back neckline and the motto on the outside of the collar are identical to the home jersey. On the chest, the Macron Hero is in dark green, while in the centre, 3 cm from the bottom of the collar, is the Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées crest. The design of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, another identifying feature of the club and the region it represents, also appears tone-on-tone and embossed on the bottom of the jersey. The kit is completed by white shorts with dark green side stripes and white socks with three wide dark green horizontal stripes down the centre.
Both jerseys have a BodyFit cut and the main fabric used is Eco Armevo with inserts in Eco Boditex, materials that, in addition to being light and breathable, provide maximum resistance. The new shirts, as well as certain items from the range of clothing designed by Macron for the Pyrenean club, are available in the page dedicated to Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées on macron.com.
