MACRON IS THE NEW TECHNICAL SPONSOR OF THE BRITISH BASKETBALL FEDERATION

Thanks to the recently signed technical sponsorship with the British Basketball Federation, Macron, the international leader in teamwear design and production, is consolidating its presence in the sport market of the United Kingdom. The Italian company will dress the teams of the federation for the next 4 seasons. The teams will officially debut the Macron Hero on their bespoke uniform starting next November, in preparation for their first international tournament, EuroBasket 2022.

The British Basketball Federation is the entity that unites the three British basketball federations--English, Scottish and Welsh--, and that coordinates the activity of men’s and women’s national teams representing Great Britain in the international tournaments managed by FIBA. The men’s national has recently qualified for the EuroBasket 2022 Finals, demonstrating significant growth also by beating better-ranked national teams such as Germany and France. In particular, the latter represents the highest-ranked squad (world n. 6) beaten by the British team after the success in the European qualifiers, 94 to 73 last February.
