HELLAS VERONA'S THIRD JERSEY IS GREEN INSIDE AND OUT

"Coloro che corrono a Verona il drappo verde" ('Those who run in Verona the green banner') is a part of the text from the 15th canto of Dante Alighieri's Inferno of the Divine Comedy that talks about a race that took place in Verona. Dante Alighieri lived in Verona for many years. The city of Verona and the football club that represents it, Hellas Verona, in this 2021, in which we celebrate the 700th anniversary of his death, pay tribute to the Supreme Poet.

Macron, the Hero company, has created the exclusive new 2021-2022 match kits, including graphics and texts that celebrate the relationship between Dante and the city of Verona. The new "Third" can be said to be 'doubly' green, both about Dante's verses and because the Italian brand has made it using Eco-Softlock fabric, 100% polyester made from recycled plastic certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

The new "Third" jersey is dark green with a crewneck and white knit edges, as are the white sleeve edges. A distinctive aspect is the embossed graphic design on the sleeves recalling the detail of the gates of the Arche Scaligere, located in the historic centre of Verona.

The backneck is personalised with the effigy of Dante and the two dates 1321 - 2021 on a blue background. On the backneck, tone on tone, the word VERONA is embroidered. The Macron Hero is embroidered on the right chest in white, while the Hellas Verona crest is on the left, on the heart side. On the inside of the shirt, on the bottom, is the above-mentioned hot-printed wording, 'Coloro che corrono a Verona il drappo verde (XV canto dell'Inferno).'
