Gold for Wrexham AFC's new Third Kit made by Macron

A week after the presentation of the Home version, Wrexham AFC also unveiled the new Third kit made by Macron that the Red Dragons will wear during the next season in EFL League One. A jersey that maintains the graphic theme already chosen for the Welsh club’s Home shirt, with a reference to the dragon, the team’s symbol, along with a tribute to the victims of the Gresford Colliery. Like all the kits Macron produces for its clubs, also this set is made from Eco Fabric. Being made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, it demonstrates Macron’s and the club’s shared commitment to sustainability and environmental respect.

Wrexham AFC’s new Third 2024/25 shirt is gold, with a black polo collar and fine gold stripes in the same vintage style as the Home version. The same colour combination is also present on the sleeve cuffs. The jersey features an all-over pattern of repeated dragon scales, which are in sublimation print on the sleeves and embossed graphics on the front body of the jersey. The backneck is customised with a red background label with a white-green-gold diagonal band in the centre, the club’s crest, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, to certify and highlight how each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus.

The Macron Hero in black silicone print is on the right chest, while the Wrexham AFC crest is on the left. As on the Home shirt, on the external backneck is printed a design representing the Gresford Colliery Memorial and the number 266, in reference to the people who lost their lives 90 years ago in the tragic accident at the coal mine near Wrexham.

The kit is completed with a double option for basketball-style shorts: black with a gold band on the thigh edge or white with a gold and black band. The gold-coloured socks have a black band on the upper edge. The jersey has a Regular fit. The main fabric used is Eco Softlock, and the presence of the Eco Micromesh back panel and Eco Mesh inserts ensure the garment is lightweight and perfectly breathable.
